Your Android device.
Your Mac's second screen.
Android Link extends your Mac onto any Android tablet, over USB or Wi‑Fi. Then it brings your phone along too: notifications, messages, calls, clipboard, files and camera, right on the Mac. One app does all of it. There's no other.
Extend: the device becomes another display. Drag windows onto it and touch to click.
Every other app does half of it.
Mac apps that put Android on a second screen stop at the screen. Mac apps that bring your phone over can't show your Mac on a tablet. Sidecar only works with an iPad. Android Link is the one app that does both, for any Android device.

The tablet in your drawer is a Mac display now.
Android Link uses the same virtual display macOS gives Sidecar, so the device shows up in System Settings like any monitor.
A real second display, not a remote desktop.
The Mac's hardware encoder streams it and the device's hardware decoder shows it, so windows move like they would on a cable.
- USB or Wi‑Fi. Plug in for the lowest latency, or leave the cable in the drawer.
- Sized to the device. The display takes its exact shape, with sharp Retina‑style text if you want it.
- Rotate it. Turn the device to portrait and the display follows.
- Full brightness while extending, then back to the device's own brightness.
Touch the Mac, on the device.
Your touches travel back over the same connection and become a mouse on the Mac.
- Tap to click, drag to move windows and select text, two fingers to scroll.
- Touch lock. One tap on the floating pill makes the screen look‑only, for a video or a reference doc you don't want to nudge.

And the other way round.
Mirror puts your phone's or tablet's own screen in a window on the Mac. Show an app in a meeting, or reach it without picking the phone up.
- Click, drag and type into it from the Mac when the device is plugged in.
- Android asks first, every time, before anything leaves the screen.
Leave your Android phone in your pocket.
Pair your phone once and everything it would buzz about shows up on the Mac, the way an iPhone's does.
In Notification Center, with replies.
Your phone's notifications land on the Mac grouped by app, with their buttons and reply fields.
- Dismiss once. Clear it on the Mac and it's gone from the phone, and the other way round.
- Your codes stay put. One‑time codes Android hides never leave the phone.
Every chat app, one Messages window.
WhatsApp, Messages, Signal, Telegram, Messenger, Snapchat: conversations build up on the Mac as they arrive, with their avatars, unread counts and search. Reply in place.
- Open it anywhere with ⌥⌘M, or from the Dock.
- Mark All as Read, and the history survives a restart.
The phone rings. The Mac shows who.
A call card slides in on the Mac with the caller's name and photo. Answer, decline or silence it without looking for the phone, then mute or hang up from the same card. Missed calls go to Messages.

Copy on one. Paste on the other.
Text and images, both ways. Send anything from a phone app with Share › Send to Mac or the Send clipboard tile in Quick Settings.
- Passwords stay home. Copies marked sensitive by your password manager are never sent.
Your Android, in Finder's sidebar.
The device shows up under Locations with its photos, downloads, documents and SD card. Open files in any Mac app, save straight into them, drag photos off.
- No root, no Android File Transfer. Changes on the device appear in Finder within seconds.
- Or use the Files window to search, rename and upload by dragging from Finder.
A better webcam was in your bag.
Use the device's front or back camera as a camera on the Mac. Pick Android Link Camera in FaceTime, Zoom, Meet or any other app.
The details that make it feel built in.
Link
Its own encrypted Wi‑Fi connection. Pair once with a six‑digit code and your devices find the Mac by themselves from then on, reconnecting whenever they drop.
Private by design
No account and no cloud. Everything travels directly between your devices, end‑to‑end encrypted with keys that never leave them.
Lives in the menu bar
One click to Extend or Mirror, see each device's state and open Messages, Files or Settings. It stays out of the Dock until you open a window.
Tablets, phones and foldables
A tablet becomes a display, a phone becomes a companion. A foldable switches between the two as you open and close it.
Install by QR code
Scan the code on the Mac with the device's camera to install the Android app. No cable or developer settings needed.
Low latency, tuned
H.264 or HEVC from the Mac's hardware encoder, every frame shown the moment it arrives, Wi‑Fi kept out of power saving while you work.
Three steps, once.
It becomes a screen
Extend or Mirror your Mac, use touch, share files, the clipboard and the camera.
It becomes a companion
Notifications, Messages, calls, clipboard, files and camera on the Mac, and Mirror when you need its screen.
Install both apps
The Mac app goes in your menu bar. Scan its QR code with the device to get the Android app.
Pair with a code
Open Android Link on the device. Check the six digits match on both screens and press Pair. Or just plug in a USB cable.
That's it
Android Link connects by itself from now on. Choose Extend or Mirror from the menu bar whenever you like.
Free, for your Mac and every Android you own.
Scan with the device's camera
Android asks once to allow installing apps from your browser. No cable or USB debugging needed.
Download the APK androidlink.app/download/android-link.apkOn its way
The Mac app is being signed and notarized for release. It runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Which Android devices work?
Any tablet, phone or foldable on Android 11 or later. A screen at least 600 dp wide (most tablets, an unfolded foldable) can extend your Mac; a phone gets notifications, messages, calls, clipboard, files, camera and Mirror.
Do I need a cable or developer mode?
No. Over Wi‑Fi everything runs on the Link. A USB cable with USB debugging gives the lowest latency for Extend and lets you control the phone in Mirror, but it's optional.
Is it like Apple Sidecar?
That's the idea. It uses the same virtual display API Sidecar uses, and the same words: Extend to use the device as another display, Mirror to see a device's screen. Sidecar needs an iPad; Android Link brings it to Android, along with the Continuity‑style phone features.
Where does my data go?
Only between your Mac and your devices. There's no account and no server. The Link is end‑to‑end encrypted (P‑256 key agreement, AES‑GCM), each side proves who it is with its own key, and devices only connect after you pair them.
Can it read my SMS?
Android Link never asks for SMS permission. Messages and calls come from your phone's notifications, so you see what your phone shows you, from any chat app.
What does it cost?
Nothing. No subscription, no ads.
Give the device in your drawer a job.
A second screen for notes, chat or music, and your phone on your Mac. One app, and there's no other.
